Why trade businesses pick Floxa
One flat plan for the whole team
Fergus adds from £12 a month for every field user on timesheets. Floxa's plans include your users — one person on Starter, up to five on Pro, up to fifteen on Business — so the bill doesn't creep as the team grows.
More than job management
Expenses, sales pipeline, online appointment booking and a live dashboard sit alongside jobs and invoices. It's the whole business in one system, not job tracking with the rest still in spreadsheets.
A UK company, priced for the UK
Floxa is built and registered in Wales, priced in pounds, with VAT handled the way HMRC expects — not a localisation of software designed for another market.
Calm by design
One clean interface for office and site, without a decade of accumulated modules to navigate. Your team learns it in a day.
Which should you choose?
Choose Fergus if…
- You need Xero, QuickBooks or MYOB syncing from day one.
- GPS vehicle tracking or health & safety forms (SWMS, hazards) are must-haves.
- You're 10+ staff and want a mature, trades-specific enterprise tier with phone support.
Choose Floxa if…
- You want expenses, pipeline, appointment booking and reporting in the same system as jobs and invoices.
- Per-user fees rankle — you'd rather one flat plan with the team included.
- You want a UK product with visible pricing you can start using today.
What you get with Floxa
Frequently asked questions
Is Floxa cheaper than Fergus?
It depends on team size. Fergus starts from £39/month plus from £12/month for each field user on timesheets, so a five-person team pays for the plan plus four or five user fees. Floxa's Pro plan includes up to five users at one flat price — check our plans page for current figures and compare against your headcount.
Does Floxa integrate with Xero?
Not yet — Fergus is ahead of us there today. Floxa's own invoicing, expenses and reporting are built to keep your numbers reconciled and easy to hand to your accountant, and accounting integrations are on our radar. If Xero sync is a dealbreaker right now, we'd rather tell you honestly.
Can I try both before deciding?
Yes — both Fergus and Floxa offer free trials with no long-term contract, so you can run them side by side on a real week's work and see which one your team actually reaches for.
What does Floxa do that Fergus doesn't?
Based on Fergus's published UK plans: expense tracking, a sales pipeline beyond enquiry management, customer-facing online appointment booking, and a live business dashboard — all included in the plan price rather than left to other tools.
